good quality but not for long...... March 8, 2005 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
I purchased these headphones for my iPod which i use every day. They were cheap but Sony is a reputable name and i had high expectations, which were met when i received the headphones. They were comfortable and the sound quality was very good, however, six weeks later and they are now unusable due to the constant buzzing that accompanies the slightest bass noise, even at low volumes. I think these headphones , for the price , are not bad but if you want to listen to your music regularly then perhaps you should consider spending a wee bit more.
Huge! February 18, 2010 laura40 (London, UK) Far too big for my earholes (which are not abnormally small...)
Poor.
Not the Best.... January 20, 2008 Furious Squirrel (North Wales) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought these earphones as the ones I got with my MP3 player had broken. However I found this pair to have a tinny sound with barely audible bass, aswell as this they are really uncomfortable in my ears.
Altogether not a good buy... even if they were £4
Junk February 15, 2010 paulk (UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
It has suddenly struck me that in my never-ending pursuit of decent earphones for my listening-whilst-walking [in-ear canal type are useless because of vibration noise] all the latest earphones come in packets labelled ipod or mp3. This must be part of the explanation why good companies such as Sony and Panasonic, who, hitherto produced extremely faithful earphones, are now churning out what in my estimation is junk. I listen mainly to classical music of CD quality, and I imagine that the companies are now delighted to reduce their earphone specifications in line with the less faithful music rendition of ipod and mp3 recordings [no arguments, please - I can tell the difference - and the internet is awash with lab test results should anyone require it]. So, I have to disagree with the rest of the reviews. These earphones are so bad that it is almost impossible to identify which instruments are playing. A final insult was that the sponge earphone covers were so thin and cheap that they immediately tore when fitting.
Broken on arrival... January 9, 2007 P. Kemp (South England) 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
... and not for the first time. 'So why did you buy them then?', I hear you ask. Well, as other reviewers have pointed out, the sound quality is excellent for this price and is great value for money; however, if there is already a dodgy connection on one of the speakers the first time you try them, then you've wasted over a fiver whichever way you look at it. Other pairs that I've bought haven't lasted long enough either.
This is simply complacancy on Sony's part; they've made a very good product - why bother with reliability? Sorry, but that's well below par, so only 2 stars.

All in all, for this price Sony 26V4000 is a wonderful purchase. L Bird
Bought this set on Tuesday, delivered Friday. Absolutely brilliant! Mr Parkin York
The best bargain I have purchased. This TV (Hannspree) looks and sounds better then the well known brands, but at half the price £299. Thanks! A H London |
