Spend a little more August 10, 2007 M. P. Revell (Wolverhampton, UK) 14 out of 19 found this review helpful
If you buy these headphones because the name "Sennheiser" makes you think of German quality, then you'll be disappointed.
They distort at relatively quiet volumes and the bass isn't that great.
If you want a comfortable, low cost pair of headphones that won't fall apart after a week, and you're only going to listen to speech radio or something similar, then these will do but you'll probably still find better value elsewhere. They're comfortable and well-built but spending a little extra will get you a better listening experience.
sennheiser hd201 v/s Sony mdrxd 100 May 2, 2010 San 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I had earlier a sony mdrxd100 and this review is in comparison with Sennheiser.
In short Sony mdrxd100 is 5 times better in all aspects compared to sennheiser hd201.
Disappointed September 26, 2009 Mr. P. J. Jepson (Manchester UK) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought these headphones based on the recomendedations here.
I had some Sennheiser headphones years ago and they were fantastic.
I could'nt be bit with the price so I ordered them
The sound is very good but there is virtually no Bass at all.
Great for Ipod but my 75 watt per channel Pioneer Hi fi sounded very tinny.
I'll use them with my Ipod in the house.

These headphones, although the sound is very good they are not very loud, they are nice and lightweight, not very cool looking though, I just look like I've got my Dad's old stereo headphones on.
Middle class headphones January 16, 2010 C. REMI (lincoln, uk) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very useful because of its light weight. The listening quality is good but not very efficient (not a good level of bass restitution)... so I think it is a good second tool for an easy listening but for a better sound quality, I recommend other higher models in the superior range of Sennheiser HD or other brands or products...in fact I have beats by dre Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio High Definition Headphones - Black and I use it as first headphones and I bought these ones to use the Beats less often. So yes it is defenetly a middle class tool but useful !

Bought this set on Tuesday, delivered Friday. Absolutely brilliant! Mr Parkin York
The best bargain I have purchased. This TV (Hannspree) looks and sounds better then the well known brands, but at half the price £299. Thanks! A H London |
