The lead does make a marked improvement to the quality of Wii games. They will never be true HD as the console isn't made that way. Well worth the cheap outlay.

After plugging the new cable in to the Wii and the television and switched on, the TV went to wide screen automatically and I checked that the setting for the video was correct in the Wii for HD TV and the difference in the clarity of the picture was very good.
Well worth buying if you have HD TV.

Because this is such an excellent product, I have now obtained three. One for myself, one for my son and one for a mate at work. By quickly swapping between these cables and the standard ones supplied, you can see a marked picture improvement.I would recommend getting a set if your TV has a component video (RGB) input.

Had a look around for "HD" Wii cables and this seemed like a cheap option. The cable just works - my 1080p Sony picture is much better on this the Nintendo original SCART cable, so I am a happy customer.
