These headphones are a fantastic product & work exactly as intended. I've previously tried ordinary in-ear 'phones a couple of times, but found they just bounced out when running so gave up. The PMX80S, however, are comfortable and stay in place perfectly, while sound quality is on a par with Sennheiser's similarly priced conventional in-ear offerings ie better than you are likely to need on the move and more than adequate for listening at home. The neck band, though, gets in the way if wearing them while lounging around the house but, of course, this is not what they're designed for!
Finally, one very minor niggle I noticed is that, while the product is described as waterproof, I personally found while wearing them running in the rain, that water runs down the ear piece and becomes trapped in the ear; barely a criticism really, this is a great piece of kit.

I've tried lots of headphones designed for runners over the years and have a draw full of products which fail to live up to expectations i.e. they all fall out! These headphones are amazing! They perform exactly how I would expect. They stay in and sound great! I cannot recommend them highly enough. Don't bother checking out any others and wasting your money, just buy these.

In my stable of earphones I am currently using:
Grado SR60i's
Shure SE420's
Beyerdynamic DTX 50's
Sennheiser 300's
and now the PMX 80 sports.
I am no expert when it comes to earphones or audio equipment but I know what I like. My Grado's are the most amazing headphones for listening to music when the house is quiet, The Shure's are fantastic when I want to concentrate on the music and pick out the detail (discovering instruments on tracks that I have listened to hundresd of times before)The Beyers and the 300's are great when there are other people around who I might have to interact with (on the bus/train etc). When I bought the PMX 80's I specifically bought them to wear when running, I read others reviews and was expecting these to stay in my ears but not sound the way they do. Okay when running the sound is not paramount but these blew me away, for the price the soundstage is detailed and wide, they are easily on a par with the Beyers but don't fall out of your ears and are so comfortable. Buys these earphones if you want them for running, I guarantee you will be impressed.

I didn't quite believe all of these rave reviews, but after going out for a run in these today I can say without a doubt they are the best headphones I have ever run in, and great value for money. They stay perfectly in place, even when sprinting, and the sound quality is very good, better than many of the "Sport" and in-ear soft/rubber phones that I have tried before. I would definitely recommend you try these. They also come in environmentally fiendly packaging, which is a nice bonus!

At last, headphones that actually stay put when running. I've tried both in ear (rubberised buds) over ear (plastic hook over type) both of which are designed to fit certain size and/or shapes of ear. The neckband/in ear combination of these beauties mean that they stay put regardless of your ear shape. And the sound quality is so good, that I've had to re digitise some of my music at best quality; 128bps is not good enough. The build quality would appear to match the sound reproduction too. Highly recommended.
