I have been very impressed with the quality of my new Sony Bravia. The picture quality is excellent, the features are comprehensive and I will use them for music especially. The scene button giving different views for sports etc makes a noticeable difference.

A lovely piece of kit. Strongly recommended. Picture is excellant, including the built in DVB. Plug a card reader into the USB slot and you can display your pictures no problem. Also, I can show my high def camcorder footage (Panasonic HDC-SD9)in all it's glory. Sound excellant too. I can play music from my PC over my home network as well. Slim and good looking package.

Sony Bravia KDL32V5500U 32-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD TV with Freeview All my adult life I have rented a TV and managed to keep up to date with all the new and improved models. This is the first time I have bought a TV outright and could not be more pleased. Superb in every feature!!

I've compared this TV to the Panasonic Viera TV and the SONY wins with no question, particularly for viewing DVD's. When you play a DVD of a widescreen, subtitled film where the subtitles are shown below the picture, the SONY Bravia has a button on the remote to raise the picture up. This is vital to be able to view the subtitles which would otherwise be hidden by the size of the picture (i.e: 1.66:1, 1.85:1 or 2.35:1). But the Panasonic Viera does not have this function, so when you watch such a DVD on Panasonic, you can't read some of the subtitles beneath the picture! Buy SONY.
