I wanted a large screen TV that did not dominate the room and was easy to use with freeview and could connect to my laptop to use as a monitor. This TV does all that and I an very pleased with it, the picture quality is excellent. Re connection to laptop - go for the RGB option and you will need to buy the audio cables. You can then make the laptop wide screen too. Read the online manual as this will help discover some of the features you will not find otherwise eg freeview radio.

All that this set offers, at this price! It's a no brainer.
Great picture and all the input types you could ever need. 1080 true HD with built in freeview for under £400 and with consistantly good reviews from whatever source you visit.
Took me 15 minutes to assemble the stand and auto tune the freeview. The remote is so simple but reveals loads of functions.
Simply a great bargain without compromising quality
